Artist Happy Hour: How to Get The Gig - RFPs, Portfolios, and Grants
You’re ready to turn your artistic vision into reality. You’ve connected with others in your field. You’ve found an opportunity that sounds right for you. So…. now what?
Artist Happy Hour: How to Get the Gig is a collaboration between the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. All are invited to join us for a panel discussion on strategies for crafting polished portfolios, resumes, grant applications, and more. Panelists will include local arts educators and leaders who will share insights based on their experiences in the field. There will be opportunities to network with other artists, to get feedback on your application materials, and to learn more about what both the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts have to offer! Refreshments will be provided, and gallery admission will be free for all event attendees.
